About the Role

Based in Hamburg, this contract role involves pivotal work with a leading transmission specialist dedicated to renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct advanced geophysical surveys and data analysis for offshore cable and pipe installation projects.
Develop models and simulations to predict and mitigate potential geological risks.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of geophysical insights with engineering solutions.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior geophysicists and project teams.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for effective decisionmaking on project developments.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in geophysics, specifically within offshore environments.
Proficient in using geophysical software and equipment relevant to subsea installations.
Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex geological data.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing and mentoring teams.
A master's degree or higher in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
