Your tasks

  • Optimality and distributed control structures in flight mission of multiple UAVs
  • Research on the state of the art in the field of reinforcement learning such as requirements of reinforcement learning mechanism
  • Communication graph structures and the graph Lyapunov equations
  • Setup of a reinforcement learning environment consists of local NN topologies for unknown none linearities and building an EndtoEnd simulation framework with the goal of developing and testing RLbased algorithms
  • Research on distributed control flight guidance in multiagent systems and on the influence of communication of graph Laplacian potential functions
  • Writing of scientific publications and participation in national and international conferences
  • A doctoral project is welcomed and supported.

Profile:


  • Master's degree or diploma in electrical engineering/aerospace engineering/ mechanical engineering/informatic or comparable field of study
  • Strong background in mathematical analyses and problem formulation such as proved background, depending on the specific research area above, preferably in the research field of reinforcement learning, robust distributed navigation systems, path planning, sensor fusion techniques and multi node systems
  • First experiences with the framework TensorFlow as well as the programming language Python, ideally tool knowledge in Gazebo/ROS
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, high level of initiative/responsibility and good organizational skills
  • Very good knowledge of German or English (C1), both written and spoken
