Technical Writer for Semiconductor Equipment


Delve Search is on the lookout for a skilled and dedicated Technical Writer to strengthen the team of one of our leading clients in the semiconductor industry.

This role is crucial for creating clear, audience-appropriate, and timely technical documentation for complex machinery from concept to delivery. If you have a passion for technical precision and clarity, we invite you to explore this opportunity.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation for semiconductor machinery, including service, user, and software documentation, from the concept phase through to the delivery of documentation.
  • Utilize editorial systems to create documentation based on specifications and parts lists, adhering to machine directives and industryspecific standards.
  • Independently gather editorial content by consulting with relevant contacts, and edit photos using Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation.
  • Translate minor documents (English-German/German-English) and coordinate translation projects with service providers.

Your Profile:


  • Degree in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, Media Management, or related fields; or significant professional experience as a Technical Writer.
  • Eagerness to delve into technically complex topics.
  • Experience with a common editorial system (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, COSIMA Go, or another XMLbased system) and proficiency in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) are advantageous.
  • Excellent command of German and English grammar and spelling.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • Organized and independent working style.
