As a student worker within the Integration and Tests team at Cerence, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software releases.

Your primary responsibilities will include supporting manual software release tests, executing release tests, generating test reports, and assisting in the development and programming of automated test scripts.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing within a dynamic and innovative environment.

But that's not all As a Cerence team member, you'll also:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving software defects or issues. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.
  • Embrace a culture of teamwork, creativity, and excellence in all aspects of your work.

Who you are:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. Prior experience in software testing or QA is a plus, but not required.
  • Passionate about automotive technology and its impact on the future of transportation.
