For temporary employment of minimum 6 months OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen is looking for a

Internship -Mechanisms and Robotics - Force-Torque-Sensor for Robotic Arm (M/F/d)

Your Tasks

Review of manuals on how to install and operate the sensor
Installation of the force torque sensor
Sanity and functionality check (> Check how the sensor works)
Define scenarios to test and verify the torque sensors readings e.g. push and pull on a spring scale to check the force with an external measurement device
Define stayout zones within KUKA
Limit working area of robotic arm and avoid undesired clashes with the environment
Setup, prepare and conduct the verification tests
Develop an interface between sensor and measurement device
Setup robotic arm movements
Conduct verification tests with arm and measurement device
Documentation
Support of the Mechanisms & Robotics team

Your Qualifications

Enrolled in Engineering studies (mechanical or similar)
Basic knowledge in CAD software tools (e.g. CATIA or other)
Good English skills, both written and spoken
Knowledge of MS Office tools
