As the Global Business Partner for Pharma, you will have the opportunity to learn and understand the business needs of our stakeholders translating these needs into strategic procurement initiatives with an emphasis on our Pharma capital investment programs.

As the trusted point of contact, you will represent procurement within our Pharma Divisional Engineering team building constructive, collaborative, and achievement-oriented relationships with them.

Building on this foundation, you will have the opportunity to develop sourcing and contracting strategies, based on global best practices, which deliver sustainable and effective investment program results.

You will represent procurement in the Steering Committees of major Pharma CAPEX projects, giving you the change to directly influence their direction and help project teams succeed.

As the Procurement Technical Community Global Business Partner for Pharma you will:

Oversee the Pharma global investment portfolio of > 800mEUR working closely with divisional Pharma Engineering, Engineering & Technology, and Project Procurement teams
Collaborate within the PRO Technical Community including our Consumer Health and CropScience Business Partners, our Project Procurement team, and Regional category heads while acting as the conduit into the divisional engineering and site teams for our procurement team
Develop collaborative partnerships both inside and outside the organization with senior stakeholders, individual suppliers, and multiparty networks creating solutions which address our complex investment and manufacturing challenges
Build a constructive, collaborative, and complementary team environment

YOUR PROFILE:

Master's or equivalent degree in science, engineering, or business management
Multiple years of relevant international professional business experience (e.g. Procurement or Procurement adjacent area such as Product Supply, Engineering, Finance) with emphasis on capital investment programs and procurement
Shown experience leading in highly sophisticated environments with the ability to simplify the complexity into manageable programs
Constructive style of leadership with proven track record to grow and develop talents
Excellent networking, communication, presentation and influencing skills across different levels of organizations and cultures; from individual team members to senior and executive leadership in Bayer and with our external partners
Validated capabilities for strategy development and implementation
Continuous improvement mentality and ability to inspire change
High proficiency level in English and German language
