Fleet Control Monitor (FCM) is embarking on a very exciting journey to fulfil our vision: to become Europe's largest online fleet software provider.
FCM is a web-based software platform to picture and control all processes in vehicle management from easy Infleet and vehicle management to remarketing.
We are part of The Constellation Automotive Group which is the largest vertically integrated digital car marketplace in Europe, combining the leading digital brands across the segments of Consumer to Business (C2B), Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C).
The role
FCM is in the start-up phase, restructuring itself for a period of high growth. This is a perfect and exciting time to join this adventure. You will have the opportunity to shape your own team and put your stamp on the business.
Core to our growth strategy is expansion both in terms of products and services.
The Technology strategy will play a major part in this as we look to build out our products and services, capable of supporting large scale growth with existing and new customers.
This is a brand-new role in FCM that brings excitement and huge opportunity. It is a very big step for a business that has a huge growth plan for the coming years.You will have the chance to shape the entire business and organise people, process and technology in the way you see best fit to grow the business at speed.
The person
You will be technical and product focused and come into FCM and relinquish the current MD of many of his daily tasks but most importantly, be the engine for the entire business.
We want you personally to manage the IT and Product teams and bring real leadership and drive to the entire organisation.
This role will suit someone who understands how aligning technology with business needs, along with exploring and implementing emerging technology trends and best practice, can help deliver rapid business growth results.
- Experience in software development leadership.
- Strong understanding of best practices, including agile development and testdriven development.
- Able to translate complex technical concepts to nontechnical, senior level audiences.
- Delivery focused & a selfstarter, having a track record of achieving challenging goals within businesscritical timescales while working under pressure.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of software developers.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience in data security management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms.
