Position Overview:


Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:


1.


Quality Control:


  • Conduct regular inspections of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct Racking checks to ensure the stock in deep storage is accurate
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes at key stages of the fulfilment process.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies, defects, or issues related to fulfilment quality.
  • Conduct scheduled and adhoc audits within key operational functions to ensure quality and enhance operational performance

Inspection of Warehouse Processes:


  • Conduct thorough inspections of warehouse processes and procedures to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of products, preventing damage or deterioration.

Outgoing Shipment Inspections:


  • Regularly inspect outgoing shipments to verify product quality, quantity, and adherence to specifications for each hub, B2B shipments, and newly onboarded clients.
  • Perform quality audits on new client operational implementations.

Quarterly Hub Audits:


  • Conduct quarterly quality audits on hubs, including comprehensive parcel inspections.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of quality control tests, inspections, and findings.

Collaboration and Feedback:


  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to investigate and resolve qualityrelated issues and findings.
  • Provide feedback to warehouse personnel, site managers, and the Senior Management Team (SMT) to establish Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and drive continuous improvement.

Onboarding Audits:


  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to conduct auditing of newly onboarded clients in ensuring quality implementation from the forefront

Continuous Improvement & Analysis:


  • Identify trends and patterns in operational process data, providing insights and feedback for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Produce Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities and incident reports associated with CAPA for errors and deviations raised.
  • Facilitate KPI data for performance management of operational staff

Reporting:


  • Provide regular reports on quality assurance metrics and performance for their site.
  • Own the Change Management process for client requests related to packaging and product specifications.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control, within warehouse or operational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with quality testing tools, measurement instruments, and quality documentation.
  • Detailoriented mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and defects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify root cause and corrective actions from
  • Ability to produce and present detailed reports to key stakeholders and senior management surrounding investigations and performance
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for recordkeeping and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma principles is advantageous.
