Our Business Technology Performance Improvement team works with Private Equity funds and their portfolio companies, Corporates and Financial Services clients across Europe to:

Realign the performance of the technology / IT function through operational restructuring to directly improve the earnings and cashflow within the business
Carry out effective technology and product due diligence predeal and provide necessary post deal services (Post Merger Integration, Separation, Carve Out, 100 day planning)
Shape and deliver enterprise wide systems and online programmes in order to deliver performance improvement via business transformation and/or cost reduction programmes
Manage and develop technology, ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence assets and systems to meet strategic and operational business requirements. This would include development of KPI's and dashboards to provide better visibility to the underlying business
Design and implement Digital Transformation initiatives in Data Science and Analytics, Digital Workforce and Artificial Intelligence
Take interim management positions for example (and depending on experience) CIO, CTO, IT Director, Program Manager etc.

Reason for the opportunity

Against a backdrop of unprecedented growth and promotions, an opportunity exists for us to strengthen our Business Technology team in Düsseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt or Hamburg at the
Senior Associate level in order to contribute to a growing and highly experienced Senior Management team.

The successful appointee (M/F/d) will play a key part in both project delivery and continued business development.

They will be responsible for supporting clients to successfully deliver major projects in such areas as; Pre-deal due diligence, Post deal Integration and Carve outs, Strategic IT planning; Product Technology; Enterprise Architecture; Business Intelligence; Target Operating Model Design; Customer Management Platforms; IT Transformation programmes; Enterprise Resource Planning; IT Supplier Performance Management; Global IT Sourcing; Business Process Outsourcing and Digital Disruption.

The Senior Associate (M/F/d) will be experienced in addressing business critical issues and will reflect the operational distinctiveness that is A&M; a business savvy, outcome focused business entrepreneur who is committed to making an impact, responsible for making a difference and not afraid to challenge the status-quo.

A consulting toolkit including framing business issues, judiciously finding and using internal and external data to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, developing business models using Excel and structuring and writing PowerPoint and Word presentations and reports
The ability to work collaboratively as a core member of the team reviewing a client's immediate and future issues and market position and develop actionable options for strategic and performance improvement. This could include Target Operating Model Design, IT Transformational programmes, Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Cost Reduction
The knowledge and skills to develop and implement commercial and costeffective solutions across IT Supplier Performance Management, Global IT Sourcing and Business Process Outsourcing
An understanding of digital technologies including Big Data & Predictive Analytics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Customer Experience & Omni-Channel communication
Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace and an appreciation of the challenges that businesses face in today's market
A successful track record in IT / Technology performance improvement at a top tier strategy or advisory firm
Experience of working pre deal and post deal with PE firms and blue chip corporates
Proven ability to work in international teams and create measurable and identifiable improvements in Technology & IT
Clear ability to deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
A very strong academic record including robust analytical rigour
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to commit to tight deadlines
Fluent business level English & German is essential. Additional European language skills including Spanish, Dutch, French or Italian are highly desirable
