We are looking for an ambitious intern who wants to make an impact in the startup world, and help transform a vital global industry.

Your mission:

An internship with us is a great opportunity to learn a variety of skills, and scale your knowledge of technology and venture building.

You will work on a variety of projects.

Below are some example of what you might be doing:

• Build the processes and tools that we use for collecting, storing and interpreting industry and market information which we use during venture ideation and creation activities
• Setup and automate the processes for updating and developing the Startup map, Data providers map, and other marketing content
• Work with the product team to do research into specific opportunities, and get experience of the ideation and product development processes
• Researching a sector of the maritime industry to identify and profile the main companies operating in the area, assessing their products and services, and collating the information into a sector report
• Setting up and automating processes to keep the market information uptodate integrating tools and services like Notion, HubSpot and the Google suite with lowcode and automation services like Zapier, Airtable and ChatGPT
• Maintaining the information databanks by handling the daily flow of information
• Helping the marketing team to create and update material

Your profile:

- business-focussed, commercially-literate, numerate, and analytically-minded, interested in learning more about how digital products are developed
- able to take the outline of a task or process and think creatively about how to fill in the gaps, then work independently to take responsibility to deliver a project from end-to-end
- articulate, able to clearly express themselves in written English. Other languages (e.g. German, Greek) would be useful but not essential
- not necessarily a coder, but someone who's confident about building systems and processes by joining up software services using no-code and low-code solutions:

• examples might include using ChatGPT to clean up and format data; wiring together tools like Slack, Notion, Hubspot etc using Zapier; writing instructions and training people on how to keep these processes running
