- Evolve the company's information security strategy, align it with business goals and legal requirements.
- Lead and develop a Cyber-Security Team.
- Manage comprehensive information security programs, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks and threats, including conducting regular risk assessments.
- Establish pragmatic security standards focusing on Good and Best Practices.
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for all international locations regarding external inquiries related to information and IT security or IT compliance.
- Provide security advice to departments and project teams for implementing secure solutions.
- Manage external security service providers and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT education with several years of professional experience.
- Deep knowledge of current IT security products and solutions, especially in the Cloud environment, as well as Information Security standards, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with IT and Information Security standards.
- Experience in managing external service providers.
- Strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills (at C-Level).
- High analytical thinking, procedural mindset, and teamwork.
- Experience in accompanying internal/external security audits and providing regular progress reports.
- Proficient in German and fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel (25%).
