    At Sykell, we're on a mission to set new standards for circular packaging in the next generation. Our dedication to sustainability runs deep, and we're looking for a talented Junior Logistics Manager to help us manage our rapidly growing logistics and fulfilment operations.

    Role Overview:

    As a Junior Logistics Manager at Sykell, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our order fulfillment and reverse logistics processes run smoothly. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales and Finance and be in daily exchanges with our logistics facility. Clear and structured communication, combined with ability to make data driven decisions are key to succeed in this role.

    Key responsibilities:

    • You are responsible for the reverse logistics process and work towards the continuous improvement and optimization of this part of our business.
    • Act as the first point of contact for our reverse logistics partners and the logistics facility where the returned goods are being processed.
    • You monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction or optimization, such as consolidating shipments, negotiating favourable terms with carriers, and implementing lean logistics practices.
    • Your responsibilities also include maintaining the freight and invoicing documentation.
    • In your role, you'll regularly support maintaining optimal stock levels for our products by assisting with inventory management operations.
    • You independently take over tasks in the operative day-to-day business.

    Requirements:

    • Fluent in both German and English.
    • First hands-on experience in supply chain management or logistics.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate supply chain and logistics disruptions.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics & supply chain management or relevant training.
    • Experience with MS Office Suite and Google Sheets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
