Join Us:

We are looking for a Professional in Public Health/International Health and/or Tropical Medicine (W/M/D) to start on **July 1, 2024**, with a workload of up to 80%. Initially, this position is limited to 2 years with the possibility of extension.

Your Responsibilities:

• Developing health programs and projects, especially in French-speaking Africa
• Ensuring quality standards in project work
• Supporting and advising partner organizations of Difäm Worldwide and Bread for the World in the development and implementation of health projects
• Independently supporting partners in medical matters and project management
• Conducting evaluations
• Communicating work internally and externally

Your Qualifications:

• Healthcare professional (Midwife, Medicine, Nursing, etc.) specialized in Public Health, International Health, or a related degree
• At least three years of experience in healthcare in economically poor countries
• Experience working with and advising church partners (FBO) or other NGOs in economically poor countries
• Ability to strategically plan with partners and implement new findings in international health
• Team player
• Strong project management skills and experience in conducting evaluations
• Proficiency in English and French
• Organizational skills, high flexibility, and intercultural competence
• Alignment with the goals of Difäm and Christian health work
• Willingness to travel regularly
