A Snapshot of Your Day

In your new role as a Market Applications Expert (f/m/d) you will actively cooperate with Hub Business Development and Grid Technologies (GT) Sales teams to develop new project opportunities towards achieving growth targets.

To ensure the inclusion of our Grid Consulting (GC) scope and awarding projects according to the planning of order intake you will also cooperate with different execution Units of Siemens Energy.

How You'll Make an Impact

Provide technical sales support to Grid Consulting regions and Grid Technologies Sales teams to ensure GC competitiveness and project wins
Oversee forecasting & sales review processes to ensure timely transparency of financials
Tracking of relevant KPIs (OI, Rev, no. of Partnerships, etc.) to ensure achievement of 10 out of 10 Grid Consulting business case targets
Strategic identification of Partners and coordination of cooperation with partners and strategic suppliers
Strategic coordination the team participation in standardization committees, working groups, and conferences
Developing transparency with reports for GC market, customer base, opportunities, competitors, and other stakeholders
Support execution of a GC communications plan and marketing strategy
Manage overall whitepaper publications & thought leadership editorials

What You Bring

Completed university degree in electrical power engineering
Longterm experience in power system analysis in generation, transmission and distribution systems (minimum 7 years of experience). Experience in power system consulting is a bonus
Good communication skills in business

- fluent in English, German is a plus. Good presentation skills to represent Siemens Energy to our customers, working groups and conferences

Strong skills in the field of organization, critical thinking, people development, coaching, intercultural communication and problem solving
