We are hiring an Operational Buyer (M/F/d) for our Supply Chain team to manage and ensure efficient parts delivery for bike assembly.

The role will be focusing on improving forecast accuracy and materials arrival, identifying inefficiencies in purchasing and implement improvements. You will operate in a highly cross-functional team environment involving the global purchasing team in the US, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics and the customs department,

Overall Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Collection, evaluation and active improvement of key figures on the performance of suppliers and the purchasing department
Processing of purchase requisitions, orders
Deadline tracking & monitoring
Communication and coordination of suppliers and external service providers
Preparation and management of master data records and price lists from buyers and suppliers
Continuous process improvement
Stay in close contact with Bike Parts suppliers
Work in close cooperation with operations (plan figures), product management (line-up, models)
Reporting of planning adjustments (postponements due to material bottlenecks or technical problems)

Competencies and Requirements:

You hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Administration or any related field
Preferably, you have gained two or more years of experience in the fields of strategic sourcing, purchasing operations, or procurement
You have strong analytical and problemsolving skills
You are selfmotivated and have a passion for being handson in your work
Very good verbal and written communication skills in English and German
Experience in a manufacturing environment and if you love bikes, it is even better
Experience wih SAP or Oracle Netsuite is preferred
