Barilla Deutschland GmbH wants to recruit a Key Account Professional within the German Sales department. The individual will be based in
Cologne and will report to the Key Account Manager Food Services.

Barilla Food Services is oriented to the customer's requirements of the out of home area. The food services department is specialized on professional and tailored solutions for the different types of catering.

The portfolio encloses the classical pasta as well as sauces and Wasa.


Key Accountabilities

  • Autonomous Key Account Management, including yearendtalk negotiations of national wholesale distributors, its subsidiaries as well as regional wholesalers
  • Drive, implement and monitor clientspecific sales strategy in consideration of the appropriated budget, company and key account goals
  • Proactive development and management of the area of the responsibilities with the objectives of new acquisitions
  • Develop and implement customer business plans as well as produce sales forecasts in order to plan sales activities and monitor these
  • Preparation of volume plans
  • Planning of volumes and resources for an effective customer management
  • Prepare and lead effective negotiations with customers. Assure to reach financial and volume targets
  • Provide detailed client
- and market-specific analysis on new products


Your Profile

  • Completed university degree (e.g. Business Administration or comparable) or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 23 years of professional experience in Key Account Management Food Services in a FMCG company in leading one or more highvolume key accounts
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn fast in a dynamic environment
  • High level of autonomy, proactivity and engagement as well as being a team player
  • Excellent German and English language skills are mandatory
  • Friendly and Courteous appearance and a sales talent
