AWS Solution Architect DACH - (D/F/M)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated AWS Senior Consultant/Solution Architect to join our Central Europe (CE) team and help us drive growth in this high-demand area.

As a key member of the dedicated Cognizant AWS Business Group, you will be responsible for helping our customers achieve their business goals using AWS cloud solutions.

Your primary focus will be on technical solutioning for AWS, working closely with our Sales Teams to provide expert guidance and support during pre-sales activities.

You will also serve as the technical spokesperson for AWS in the region, providing thought leadership and driving innovation in this space.

In this role, you will lead the largest and most strategic customer engagements in the region, collaborating closely with the Market Head for Central Europe in a two-in-a-box model.

You will work closely with vertical leaders and be supported by an established team of Cloud & Infrastructure Sales Executives, Pre-Sales Consultants, and Architects.

Cognizant is supported by a dedicated AWS partner team, which will give you access to business development resources and a wealth of technical and industry expertise.

You will work closely with this AWS dedicated team cross region to ensure that our solutions are always at the cutting edge of innovation.

Your Key Result Areas:

Working with Enterprise customers on the value proposition of Cognizant's AWS offerings and collaborate in architectural discussions to ensure successful deployment and adoption in the AWS cloud.
Cultivate strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customer organizations to transform them into cloud advocates.
Collaborate with customers to shape deals, mapping desired outcomes to offerings and capabilities.
Engage with customers through interactive workshops, digital dialogues, demos, and Proofs of Concept (POC's) to identify opportunities and define desired business outcomes, encouraging customers to envision the "art of the possible."
Serve as a technical liaison between customers and delivery teams to ensure customer needs are met.
Develop AWSbased solutions that align with customers' business needs and work with sales leads to qualify prospects.
Contribute to the development of case studies and share expertise on solutions, demonstrating how they can be applied to each unique customer use case.
Develop and evaluate endtoend technical AWS solutions.
Evaluate internal and external cost inputs, including industry benchmarks, to ensure optimized solutions from a financial perspective.
Contribute to written RFI and RFP responses, participate in facetoface customer interactions, and deliver solution presentations.
Author and contribute to Cognizant blogs, whitepapers, and webinars to showcase thought leadership and industry expertise.

Your Experience:

Dynamic, selfmotivated, and enthusiastic to work with. Ability to tackle technical challenges and enjoy solving business problems with AWSbased solutions.
Passionate about working with Enterprise customers, with a focus on educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for a diverse and challenging set of Enterprise customers.
Strong understanding of largescale distributed computing architectures.
You will enjoy keeping up to date with your existing technical skills and developing new ones to make strong contributions to architecture discussions.

Your Qualifications:

Possess a "Cloud Native" mindset with an understanding of the latest cloud technologies and trends
Preferably hold a degree in Computer Science or Engineering
AWS Solution Architect certification; preferably a Professional or Speciality certification
Excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, technical conferences, and development teams
Demonstrated experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
Deep exposure to Cloud Native, Microservices architectures, container orchestration platforms, DevOps and CI/CD, data platforms, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus)
Must be located in Central Europe and have the ability to work remotely
Demonstrated ability to continuously adapt to new technologies and lear
