realworld one is the global leader in enterprise virtual (VR) and augmented reality (AR) software solutions, focusing on the life sciences, analytical, diagnostics and medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and processing industries.

realworld one's customers include several major, well-known companies such as Lonza, Illumina, ZEISS, Bio-Rad, Agilent Technologies, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, Becton Dickinson, QIAGEN, Hologic, GEA Group, and Tecan among many others.

With its comprehensive scientific and industry expertise, realworld one has developed a systematic approach to implementing VR and AR within the areas of sales and marketing, service and support, research and development, as well as manufacturing and production.
At present, the company employs around 200 people at its headquarters in Freiburg (Germany) and at other locations in Berlin (Germany), San Diego (USA), Austin (USA), Bangalore (India), and Guangzhou (China).

In order to expand our team in Freiburg (Germany), we are now looking for a talented

Head of Marketing (M/F/d)

Your responsibilities:

Serve as the goto person for all marketingrelated matters, driving thought leadership, developing sales playbooks, and creating impactful customer stories through case studies and video.
Spearhead the planning and execution of communitybuilding events, including onsite VR community days and informative webinars, to engage with customers and prospects.
Conduct comprehensive market research to serve the platform/product and sales teams with valuable market insights, supporting business growth and strategy refinement.
Foster seamless collaboration between various departments and manage relationships with freelancers and agencies to ensure effective marketing support across the board.
Leverage expertise in accountbased marketing (ABX) and solution marketing to tailor strategies that resonate with our target audience, enhancing brand presence and market share.
Champion the marketing vision internally and externally, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and enhancing our position in the market.

Your profile:

Minimum 5 years of experience in complex B2B marketing, with a proven track record of successful strategy development and execution.
Solid background in solution marketing and accountbased marketing (ABX), with the ability to craft tailored marketing campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
Experience in the VR/AR, Life Sciences, or software development industries, demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
Prior experience at a higher manager level in smaller companies, or as a key player or regional manager in larger organizations, showcasing the ability to adapt and lead in diverse business settings.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of providing market insights and supporting sales teams with actionable intelligence.
Experience working in or with USheadquartered companies, with an understanding of the dynamics and expectations of highgrowth companies considered a plus.
