At the
Friedrichsdorf site, Valeo Telematik and Akustik GmbH develops and manufactures innovative communication electronics for intelligent telematics, in order to network telecommunications, navigation, positioning and information technology and to increase driving comfort and traffic safety.

In order to advance our further development, we are looking for you to join our team of experts at the next possible date.

These challenges await you as

• Lead technically the design of microphone and Audio modules in Advanced Development projects.
• Define Standard building blocks of the Platform for series Projects
• Support the platform manager by executing the advanced development projects
• Lead technically the design of combined microphone and loudspeaker boxes for hands free telephony.
• Review and evaluation of technical solutions based on customer requirements and or find alternatives
• During RFQ review of technical customer requirements, discuss with colleagues of the different metiers potential technical solutions by the platform building block reuse.
• In charge of the robust and cost optimized design in line to meet the quality targets
• Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request destandardizations based on sound justifications
• Identify the needed work packages and deliverables of the métier contributers like hardware, software, mechanical design and acoustics
• Establish internal development Specifications for the different métiers (Hardware, Mechanics, Software)
• Call for all necessary design reviews
• Report and escalate to his project manager or R&D manager as needed
• Ensure wide IP protection

You inspire us with that:

• Engineering Degree preferable in electronics, mechatronics or acoustics
• 3 Years' Experience in R&D development activities
• Excellent command of English and German language is a must
• Good knowledge of automotive development standards and processes
• Also good knowledge of technical acoustics, microphone and loudspeaker technology
• Knowledge of testing in acoustics
• Basic knowledge of audio digital signal processing, room acoustics and analog & digital electronics
• Furthermore basic knowledge in mechanics and its audio impact
• Excellent command of English and German language is a must
