Senior Software Engineer – Security (d / m / w)

Based in the automotive capital of South West Germany, an innovative and ferociously expanding company is offering an unparalleled Senior Software Engineer position.

At the heart and soul of the new-age automotive sector, this special company develops world-leading Automotive platforms for Tier1 and Automotive OEM partners. During this exciting time, they urgently require 3 x Senior Software Engineers to extend their security-related components and increase the functionality of their software.

Responsibilities

• Practice the highest level of code quality
• Design and develop new security-related functionalities as well as maintaining current functionalities
• Addition of your own ideas within the security and automotive field
• Liaise with stakeholders on current projects and tasks to ensure an efficient process
• Analyze new requirements for security-related functionalities as well as the assessment and alteration of existing ones
• Work closely with other developers within the company, supporting them with security-related topics on Embedded Linux and Windows Software
• Ensure all implementations adhere to modern security standards for their IoT/Cloud solutions Business Unit

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of C/C++ within the field of security (Embedded and/or Cloud Security)
• Very good understanding of embedded systems
• Experience in security-critical architecture and cryptography
• Network protocols and encryption concepts/standards (e.g. HTTPS, SSL, PKS, etc.)
• Security-related tools such as Wireshark
• Fluent English
