**Job title: Director Continuous Improvement (M/F/d)**

**Location: Schorndorf, Germany**

**Position Summary**

The site Continuous Improvement Director is essential to drive the transformation and continuous improvement roadmap of the site. His/ her responsibility will be the implementation of the Catalent Way Production system with the beginning of FY23, to establish a Continuous Improvement mindset and culture at the site. The incumbent will ensure that a proper pipeline of Continuous Improvement projects and cost saving initiatives is build and followed, as we see increasing base constant inflation in a high-income environment. To stay competitive every function of the company will need to improve the processes and reduce complexity, digitally transform, and establish lean approaches. The site Continuous Improvement Director will give the guidance.

**The Role**
- Strategical development of a Continuous Improvement Roadmap.
- Deploy Catalent Way CI program to foster LEAN transformation of the site.
- Ensure people development in Six Sigma (DMAIC), Lean and project management skills, as well as coaching and certification of Green Belts.
- Lead the site project management office (PMO)
- Be part and work closely with global CICoE (Center of Excellence) team to develop and implement standards to the community.
- Governance, support and operational development of methodologies, systems & tools that support our way of Continuous Improvement
- Technical and disciplinary management and further development of the CI employees in the matrix structure at the site
- Business Continuity and Risk Management
- Build and sustain a strong CI project pipeline.
- Responsibility for the implementation of legal requirements about occupational health & safety as well as GMP
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in engineering/ natural sciences
- ** 10+ years of experience** in the field of Continuous Improvement
- Professional experience in the **pharmaceutical industry** desirable
- ** Six Sigma Black Belt** and experience with Lean, Kaizen, TPM, Problem Solving Tools, 5S
- Excellent communication skills in **German and English**
