delphai allows users to thrive in their industries by revealing their best partners, future customers, and key competitors. delphai is a highly automated company data integration machine.

Our software makes accessing and understanding tailored market data as easy as using a search engine but built for B2B.

Who we are looking for


delphai is in one of the most exciting phases of a startup: Over the past three years, we have developed our software and brand while creating relationships with well-known international organizations (e.g., Siemens, Volkswagen, and Continental). Our proprietary software suite uses state-of-the-art machine learning and natural language processing to sift through a wealth of big data on technology, business, and market developments to help businesses use firmographic data to make better decisions.


We are looking for an experienced leader in engineering that will be supervising and mentoring teams responsible for our infrastructure (DevOps) as well as our software development (data acquisition, backend and frontend engineering, APIs and integrations).

You are developing efficient processes that streamline operations while ensuring quality outcomes. You are adept at fostering an environment of collaboration among team members to maximize productivity while encouraging innovation.

Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to effectively communicate with stakeholders across and outside the organization which helps ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Tasks

  • Manage, coordinate, and oversee the execution of all development activities, including project definition, technical design and analysis, system architecture, programming, security, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Lead technical design decisions across teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Ensure data architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible, and costeffective.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching for all engineering teams. Manage engineers and their performance with candid feedback, recurring 1:1's, performance reviews and goal setting.
  • Facilitate decisionmaking throughout the team, including standardization of system architecture, reusable code base development, versions of software tools, best practices, source control, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration and encourage innovation, implementation of new technologies, outsidethebox thinking, teamwork and selforganization.
  • Partner with the founder and product team to shape the vision, secure the budget, and plan the product roadmap.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline or related experience; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years full stack development experience including client/server interaction, databases, and CI/CD infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of experience running teams/projects using Agile/ Kanban methodologies.
  • 3+ years of direct software engineer managerial experience.
  • Worked in multiple domains with diverse exposure to various languages and a strong focus on customer centricity, strategic tech decisionmaking, and product thinking.
  • Big picture system design experience, and the knowhow to render the big picture plan into an execution roadmap that gets the plan accomplished.
