The results will be utilized by a top US Tech company in the development of their QA environment, strongly impacting the (very high) quality of their products - consumer electronics devices sold in multi-million units globally.

You'll be dealing directly with various customer stakeholders in an agile environment. The customer is looking for a strong hands-on, proactive and pragmatic approach, combined with strong communication and leadership skills.

Requirements:

PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or similar
Excellent proficiency of C++ including latest standards C++17 and above, as well as experience with Python.
Ability to analyze & understand issues and bottlenecks in software and proactively find and suggest technical solutions as well as improvements
Customer facing abilities and strong communication
Applied knowledge of multithreading and GPU programming
Strong analytical, mathematical skills & problem solving skills
Existing & Valid VISA and work permit in Germany, or resident of EU country

Nice-to-have:

Handson Matlab experience
Experience with embedded systems
Objective-C knowledge
Familiarity with Sensors
Familarity with Machine Learning
Familiarity with software development for Linux and / or MacOS

Experience in those fields will be a strong plus:

Optical systems
ADAS
