HEAD OF QUALITY PURCHASE PARTS (QPP) (M/W/D)
Location Hamm, Germany

YOUR TASKS

You are responsible for the plants quality assurance of electronical and mechanical purchase parts before and after SOP incl. supplier releases, APQP, claim management, read across etc.
You lead and empower your team with > 20 engineers to improve delivery quality and total customer satisfaction within a set of suppliers located all over the world
In case of nonconformities of purchase parts, you are accountable for the definition of immediate containment actions, rigorous RCA and robust corrective actions including onsite verification
You further initiate, promote and support the implementation of quality improvement strategies and ensure lessons learned across projects
You are in charge of the reimbursement of supplier caused costs in close collaboration with the purchasing department
You ensure supplier development and supplier escalation processes
You negotiate with suppliers to enforce the companies' requests

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

The basis is your completed technical university degree as well as longstanding professional experience in operational functions in an international environment, in which you have directly experienced what it means to deliver quality to customers in autotmotive instustries
You further possess presistency, strong willingness and excellent communication skills in English and German (full working proficiency written and spoken)
Quickly understand of complex contexts, elaboration of concepts and development of alternative solutions under high pressure characterize your way of working
Ideally you have already expericene in leading people and / or projects to success
