As the Medical Affairs Lead Hematology Germany, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the therapeutic area Hematology in Germany.

This includes building impactful medical plans and ensuring executional excellence of respective activities. Together with your team of office
- and field-based colleagues you will establish trusted and sustainable cooperation with the external medical community and key external experts, while acting as the single source of medical and scientific information in GSK's Hematology indications for internal and external needs.


_ Key Responsibilities_:


  • Lead the medical therapeutic area team for Hematology with direct line management of Medical Advisors, Medical Communications Managers and the MSL Lead to ensure a seamless collaborative and synergistic working model of office
- and field-based Medical Affairs colleagues

  • Represent German Medical Affairs Hematology in all relevant incountry and abovecountry Medical Affairs and crossfunctional forums as well as towards respective stakeholders
  • Define the local medical strategy for the Hematology area in Germany in partnership with the global and regional medical teams and in alignment with the overarching crossfunctional brand plan and Oncology plan Germany
  • Drive executional excellence of the medical plan through impactful medical solutions that have an impact for patients
  • Establish and maintain close cooperation and trusted relationships with external experts and key opinion leaders
  • Successfully manage internal cross functional stakeholders (market access, commercial, clinical operations, clinical development)

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Scientific degree (Life Sciences), MD, PhD
  • Demonstrated working experience (>4 years) in medical affairs in pharmaceutical industry
  • Successful experience (>2 years) working as a line manager and team leader
  • Strong collaboration and presentation skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, flexible thinking
  • Profound understanding of clinical development and commercialization principles and strategies in pharma
  • Ability to simultaneously handling multiple tasks and working under pressure as well as influencing skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Resilience and change agility and lifelong learning mindset
  • Excellent written and spoken English, fluent German

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in the field of Hematology and/or Oncology
  • Track record of successful launch planning and execution including AMNOG processes
  • Substantial knowledge of important aspects of drug development/ GCP, regulatory processes, HTA, biostatistics as well as postapproval data generation (RWE, NIS)
  • Demonstrated customer focus, integrity and relationship building skills
