TheFinance Business Partner (M/F/d) works in a virtual, international Finance team in our German office. As Finance Business Partner you will support the local functions, especially the sales business with focus on Finance Operations. Thereby he is co-pilot for the business and supports business decisions effectively with his analyses and recommendations.

Your tasks:
- Managing the processing of invoice payments
- Support sales management as a sparring partner in the decisionmaking process
- Codevelopment of business cases and evaluation of the potential of new sales initiatives
- Monitoring accounts payable and account receivable
- Schedule a payment plan and settle payments
- Handle all special or difficult transactions including special requests for payments, foreign cable transfers, etc.
- Alert status invoice payments (control of debtors ledger, send invoice reminders)
- Prepare credit analysis
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process and accounting reporting, prepare financial statements.
- Support the European and local financial planning and forecasting processes as well as adhoc reporting and analysis
- Responsible for ensuring data integrity and completeness for financial KPIs
- Actively participate in regular business reviews with relevant stakeholders to support the business
- Deliver adhoc analysis to drive management decisions
- Support financial audits
Your profile:
- Professional qualifications (finance/business degree) and at least 5 years' experience in operational and Business Partnering roles
- Ability to manage stakeholders and connections with virtual teams
- Crossfunctional professional experience in various positions in finance (corporate & operational finance)
- Experience as a Finance Business Partner with a strong understanding of sales operations in a B2B environment in an international company
- Good accounting knowledge (HGB, US GAAP & IFRS) as well as solid understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L & cash flow)
- Team player who enjoys working with others while having a selfstarting personality
- Secure use of all relevant standard IT systems
- Being able to work independently and driving performance
- Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization
- Business fluent in German and English, Japanese would be an advantage
