Leadership Development in Procurement - LDP Associate (d/f/m)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve learning and development objectives, and deliver business results, within the constructs of projectbased rotations (each 3 months in duration) across all areas of Procurement.

Each program rotation will have defined key tasks and deliverables which are relevant to the specific function and scope, and these program rotations can include (but are not limited to):

- identifying/delivering cost savings
- developing category strategy
- delivering value beyond cost savings while helping to meet Procurement's strategic objectives

Conduct stakeholder alignment meetings in order to scope potential projects and offer solutions
Complete assigned International shortterm assignment (or extended business trip) with the intent of gaining global experience and networking
Build crossfunctional stakeholder relationships, as well as relationships within the Bayer Global Procurement community
Educate yourself on company policies which affect the business, and monitor progress against business goals in partnership with coaches, mentors, and/or management
This role includes an opportunity for an international assignment (3 months) at one of the Bayer regional hubs

WHO YOU ARE

Master's degree or PhD in business administration, engineering, or natural sciences
Initial work experiences (e.g., through internships) in Procurement or related areas
International experience, either during your studies or through internships abroad
Passion for procurement and possess the ability to challenge the status quo
Passion to innovate and the desire to contribute your ideas to bring about change
Ability to build partnerships, work collaboratively across cultures, and meet shared objectives
Business mindset and leadership aspirations
Awareness of opportunities and value that digital solutions can open upbring, combined with strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills (fluency in English, both written and spoken, combined with presentation skills)
Domestic and international travel required (~20%)

Mentorship with a senior leader in the Procurement organization

Please note that the selection process comprises an HR interview, Hiring Manager interviews and an Assessment Center. The selection process will be conducted virtually. The program is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2023 (flexible start dates).
