Conde Nast Affiliate Content team is seeking a Trainee Affiliate Editor at GQ.

The Trainee will be tasked to support the commerce content strategy for GQ, as well as authoring written reviews of consumer products, buying guides and other forms of shoppable content, all reflecting the distinctive tone of voice of GQ.

Your tasks:

In this role you will support to identify content and product categories to ensure that these are relevant, have a search intent and will generate commerce content revenues.
You will write trend, evergreen content and regularly identify articles to be updated.
Monitoring of online retailers to identify offers that are of interest to our audience with an eye on commission rates.
Close cooperation with SEO-Team to continuously improve the content, focus on relevant and to align on seasonal and tentpole events
Have an eye on comparable sites, and researching affiliate trends in the relevant product categories
Completed university studies or comparable training
Ideally, you already have some experience in online journalism
Professional competence in the areas of fashion, beauty, grooming and lifestyle
Knowledge of editorial SEO
Basic knowledge in google analytics, skimlinks and other tools
Sense for local developments and cultural changes and seek potentials within our brands/ editorial/ commercial calendar
Strong aesthetic sense in tone of voice and excellent writing skills
Creative and wellorganized, you're proactive in turning ideas into action
Focused, independent work ethic, flexibility, exceptional dedication, and teamwork skills, with strong proficiency in both German and English
