These will be your main activities:

  • Leading and developing the German sales department and thereby managing, supervising, coaching, training/developing, motivating and evaluating the employees within the team.
  • Creating team spirit.
  • Drawing up, realizing, monitoring and reporting detailed turnover, margin and action segment plans and objectives per account & account manager.
  • Building lasting relationships with (representatives of) the management of (key) accounts.
  • Identifying market, turnover and competition developments (opportunities and threats) and responding to these timely and proactively.
  • Continuously optimizing and improving the integral sales process and
customer satisfaction.


You will contribute:


  • In consultation with the CEO/CCO and Head of Sales HQ, drawing up all strategic and operational segment sales plans, pricing strategies & budgets, including detailed turnover

and margin objectives per account & account manager and the actions + conditions to achieve these objectives at these accounts.


  • Continuously monitoring and reporting whether the segment sales plans in terms of turnover, margin and account objectives are realized and making timely adjustments where necessary.
  • Leading and managing + coaching the German sales team and ensuring that personal sales and (competence) development & professionalization objectives per employee are realized.
  • Establishing and maintaining (at management level) customer relationships with the accounts selected in the segment sales plans and ensuring that the entire sales team
covers the relationship with all key players within an account ("vertical selling").

  • In consultation with other departments within the company, optimally streamlining the integral internal sales process (especially finance, logistics, product development, marketing) and being responsible for smooth cooperation with these departments in conjunction with proactively and continuously identifying and implementing sales process quality improvements.
