Your mission:

The advertised position is for an
Operations Working Student.

In this position, you will work closely with seasoned industrial and mechanical engineers and assist in the planning and production of ecoLocked Materials, our innovative concrete admix materials.

Specifically, you will provide hands on support throughout all stages of production, including the preparation of raw materials, processing, packaging, and delivery of our products, ensuring smooth operation of our pilot plant.

The position includes but is not limited to the following roles and responsibilities:

Assist in developing manufacturing plans and operate the pilot plant to meet customer demands
Continuous monitoring of stock levels and address material shortages with the Supply Chain Team
Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends and efficiency improvements
Develop standard operating procedures for operational efficiency and quality control
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process improvements and resolve production challenges

This is a high impact role with huge growth potential.

The insights and learnings developed will contribute to the overall process optimization, further automatization via smart control systems, and integration of ecoLocked Materials, as part our next generation production facility.

The role and position can evolve and develop over time to meet your strengths, previous experiences, and future development goals as well as ecoLocked's growth and development vision.

Your profile:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in chemical, process or mechanical engineering
Possess a German work permit and are available to work for 20 hours per week
Strong analytical, reasoning and problemsolving skills with a handson mentality
Knowledgeable in manufacturing principles and processes, as well as basic understanding of inventory management techniques and systems
Fluent in English, with knowledge of German being a plus
Possess creativity and ingenuity
Mathematical competency
Passionate about making a positive climate and comfortable in a dynamic startup environment

Work location:Mainly in Bernau bei Berlin, where our manufacturing site is located. Occasionally at our main office in Wedding, Berlin
