We are looking for a
-
Process Automation Expert (M/F/d) to join the team of breeding information (R&D). You will be part of the team pursuing the digitalization of breeding-related activities in Sugarbeet and Cereal crops. You will be the driver of optimization and automatization in the breeding technologies processes and will substantially contribute to harmonization and standardization of analytical pipelines.

  • This is a permanent, fulltime position based in KWS Saat SE & Co. KGaA (HQ, Einbeck, Lower Saxony) with the possibility to work in hybridmode from Germany, with office days in Berlin and/or Einbeck.

Your tasks:


  • Establish a framework for developments in Microsoft Power Platform and/or other lowcode platforms in compliance with KWS IT guidelines
  • Coordinate and advice the efforts of colleagues of the same functional group working on process automation
  • Develop and maintain a diversified portfolio of tools to optimize processes
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows in routine activities in breedingrelated activities
  • Analyze use cases, and assess priority in alignment with the breeding information strategy
  • Provide efficient usersupport and guidance in automation best practices
  • Internal networking with stakeholders working with process automation in nonR&D areas
  • Scout the stateoftheart in automation and identify potential tools/approaches to add value to KWS

Your profile

  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge and experience with marketleading RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools and business process automation
  • Programming languages such as VBA, C#, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with process documentation (BPMN 2.0) and related tools (SAP, Signavio)
  • Knowledge of AI and ML is desirable
  • Experience in agile framework practices for software development
  • Effective collaboration and communication in crossfunctional and multicultural teams
  • Very good English communication skills (written and oral), German or other languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel to KWS breeding stations (1025%)
