Tasks

The Job

You'll be involved with both category management and project procurement. This includes development projects and technical purchasing.

You'll work with project teams, buyers, and suppliers to coordinate global purchasing activities that support the introduction of new products.

Each day will be varied, as you manage purchasing across different business units. This role includes tender preparation and negotiation, as well as supplier selection, development, and evaluation. You'll also be involved with designing, negotiating, and concluding new contracts.

As a strategic thinker, you'll analyse and monitor global procurement markets, optimising supplier portfolios, and identifying potential areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Critically, you'll be granted the autonomy to execute your sourcing strategy as you see fit.

Requirements:

About You

You'll need experience in technical purchasing (such as in the electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical field), and a related degree or diploma.

With strong analytical, solution-oriented skills and a methodical way of working, you'll have excellent commercial awareness with strong communication and negotiation skills in both business fluent German and English.

You'll enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams whilst also displaying a high level of initiative.
