Your role:


In this role within our Global Strategic Insights organization, you are accountable for conducting data and performance analytics, forecasting, and assessing business opportunities and identifying levers and barriers to support shaping the global strategy for our present and future Thyroid & Endocrinology portfolio.

Specific responsibilities include the coordination of global insights efforts to ensure a comprehensive and complementary Insights Plan targeting key business questions of the Global Business Franchise.

In addition to this you guarantee precision and quality of revenue forecasting for existing and potential assets; projects could span commercially marketed products, internal development, in-licensing and Business Development, and portfolio and strategic reviews, across both areas.

In driving the development and alignment of long-term forecasts you harmonize the process, assumptions, and final strategic revenue forecasts between the relevant priority markets before generating results that feed into the company's strategic plan.

You analyze, integrate, and interpret results from various insights sources and prepare meaningful, timely reports and presentations for brand teams and senior management ensuring information is communicated clearly and effectively to all key collaborators.

In designing both qualitative and quantitative primary market research you support business decisions and develop, implement, and maintain market research/project plans and budgets in key global markets.

You identify, evaluate, and help purchase global secondary data reports and databases that support portfolio extension efforts and recommend appropriate uses of each resource.

This role ensure an appropriate level of accuracy is applied in GSI activities depending on business needs and the decisions to be made.

Following this you ensure compliance with internal process and policies regarding the progression and approval of market research methods and materials.

Supporting the implementation of functional excellence and standards across all GSI activities within the company and helping the company maintain pace with current industry standard methodologies for quality business analysis rounds off the job profile.


Who you are:


  • Bachelor's degree level education in science or equivalent experience; Postgraduate degree strongly preferred (MA,MS, MBA, PhD)
  • 47 years of relevant data analytics, longterm strategic or opportunityassessment and forecasting, market research and business intelligence experience
  • Familiarity with key global market and technology trends in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills required to effectively communicate strategic insights, tell a story and inform decisions
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working on and influencing crossfunctional teams
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities, and manage key partners through effective communication
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence senior members within and/or across functional teams through robust analysis and reasoned solutions.
  • Hyperthyroidism and or Endocrinology TA experience is a plus
  • Experience with launch brands and business development forecasting is a plus
  • Knowledge of global secondary data sources (IMS, Decision Resources) and syndicated databases preferred
  • Strong strategic skills including ability to see the big picture, conceptual/out of the box thinking, proven senior management presence and exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to lead a crossfunctional discussion in an organized and tactful manner, systematically using supporting information and logic, by building and defending cogent arguments; ability to guide the group to a consensus
