To complement our team of recognized IT experts, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual.

You will be heading the sub section Reinsurance P&C Technical Team and report to the Global Head of Business Solution Reinsurance P&C.

You with your team are responsible to deliver the technical architecture and all common modules and DevOps services for the project and product portfolio of the whole section.

Technical complexity is reduced through common secure, standardized and compliant delivery platform that allows product teams to focus on business functionality.

You are a leading expert in your team.

This position will be located in Munich.


YOUR JOB

  • Disciplinary and functional management of a team of highly qualified and motivated IT experts
  • Full responsibility for all modules, platforms and services in scope in time, on budget and in high quality in accordance to security and regulatory requirements and to IT norms and guidelines
  • Leading expert for technical architecture in the section
  • Working together with your team in a matrix organisation with the other subsections to deliver the projects and products of the section.
  • Reliable and trustful relationship with our partners in the respective business units
  • Manage, grow and develop the team in the way of continuous conversations
  • Leading and living the software development lifecycle process for your portfolio based on MR Essentials 2.0
  • Monitoring and managing the costs and budgets in your responsibility

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
  • Several years of experience in software development as a developer and architect and hence indepth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product life cycle
  • Deep technical knowledge in Cloud Technologies, in particular based on Microsoft Azure,.Net based architectures, webbased systems, serviceoriented architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints.
  • Teambuilding abilities and strong skills in the management of internal and external interfaces, also in an international context
  • Highly developed leadership qualities and management experience
  • Experience of leading change processes and excellent organisational skills
  • Collaborative working style, creating a culture of accountability and sharing
  • High level of service and client focus, aspiration of cocreation and experience in stakeholder management
  • Ideally excellent command of German and English and willingness to travel
