Tasks

At TU Berlin's Audio Communication Group:

Conduct high-quality research in the field of audio communication, contributing to ongoing projects and initiating new areas of inquiry.
Collaborate with faculty members, postdocs, and fellow PhD students to publish research findings in toptier journals and conferences.
Participate in seminars, and workshops, presenting research progress and findings.
Assist in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and master's students, including supervising projects and theses.

At ai|coustics:

Develop and refine machine learning models for speech enhancement, focusing on preprocessing, training, optimizing and deploying ML models in different environments (web, desktop, embedded).
Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to integrate research findings into ai|coustics' products and services.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and audio processing to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for new features and improvements.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Audio Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong background in audio signal processing and machine learning.
High proficiency in Python.
Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, especially with audio/speech related tasks and use cases
Knowledge of realtime audio is a plus, especially in Rust/C++.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
