• Originate cross border M&A and capital markets transactions in Europe
• Prepare and deliver client presentations
• Oversee Junior Bankers, review and negotiate transaction documentation
• Develop client relationships in Europe

• Persuasive and polished written and oral communication skills, both in English and one other European language (preferably German, French, Spanish or Italian); Chinese language skills are not required but a plus
• Idealy, specialist and industry knowhow in either Healthcare, Chemicals, Consumer/Retail or Financial Services
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Thorough knowledge of capital markets and M&A
• Committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests
• Excellent interpersonal skills; team player
• Leadership and client management / networking skills
• High standards of professional and ethical conduct
• Passion and resilience for business development
• Handson approach, and willing to drive origination and lead transactions on a daytoday basis
• Cultural sensitivity developed through international experience

• Extensive bluechip client coverage and transaction experience, especially in cross border transactions
• Good business acumen and proven track record in developing client relationships
• Extensive experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities with existing clients under coverage, while exploring new business opportunities with new clients
