In our Technology & Innovation team, we are looking for a new team leader for our Industrial Artificial Intelligence team in Germany, which is responsible to drive customercentric, evidencebased innovation and develop the Siemens products of the future. Our experts combine excellent knowledge in cutting edge technology areas (like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, cloud and edge computing) with a passion to understand customer problems and industrial markets. We create technology with purpose to support our customers in tackling their most pressing challenges of today and tomorrow.

What part will you play?

In your new role, you will lead a team of industrial AI experts and guide them towards successful customer value generation and business impact.
You are responsible to foster customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking and to find ways from shortterm potential to stable businesses of the future.
Coordinate innovation programs in industrial AI with international project teams.
Within the international Siemens industrial AI community, you are bridging research and innovation with the business and product development of Factory Automation and beyond.
You enable and support business experiments, so that your team is empowered to make the best decisions and to proactively stop or push certain ideas.
You are a trusted and impactful member of the department management team.
You lead and coordinate customer interviews and evaluate there needs

What you need to make real what matters.

You hold a university degree in computer science, business informatics, business engineering or similar, ideally with a focus mainly on Artificial Intelligence and first experiences in sales and / or in AI.
You lead by example: constantly challenging yourself, actively seeking feedback, considering all the relevant details, prioritizing of communication and mutual understanding, empowering others to act and decide on their own.
You embrace diversity and actively seek for different opinions to challenge your conclusions and proactively learn and grow every day.
You aspire to combine both technical excellence and deep customer understanding to drive impactful innovation.
You are willing to dive deep, considering all relevant facets, to come to the best decisions.
Excellent writing and communication skills in English and German and experience in intercultural collaboration complete your profile.
Traveling 2 days a week is part of your responsibility
