In order to support the department for Mechanical Equipment and Fuel System Installation, Airbus Helicopters is looking for aNIntern (d/f/m) within Mechanical Equipment & Fuel System Installation:

- Duration: 56 months
The outboard equipment installation is done for the full scope of helicopter missions, including public transport, public services, emergency medical services, police and parapublic missions, Search and Rescue, military, and VIP transport.
The department is transnationally organized, with team members in Marignane, France, and in Donauwörth, Germany.Your location:
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
As an intern in our department, you will have the opportunity to assist in various ongoing development projects
- Design of aerospace mechanical parts and assemblies using CADtools
- Equipment integration studies in the Digital Mock-Up and with prototypes on the aircraft
- Manufacturing of prototype structures and assemblies by 3Dprinting
- Support in the creation of documents for part testing and airworthiness substantiation
- Support of improvements of department methods and tools (e.g. data analysis in Excel and/or SAP)
- Support with project management tasks
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field of study
- Strong interest in mechanical design with basic experience using CAD tools (e.g. Catia V5)
- Ability for teamwork, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Language Skills: English advanced level, German intermediate
