What you do:
Technical Vision and Strategy

  • Create software architecture that enable and implement our "Software Defined Mobility" vision.
  • Articulate and communicate the company's software architecture strategy, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business needs and customer requirements into actionable technical and architectural solutions.

Architecture Development and Management

  • Design and oversee the implementation of highquality architectural solutions, guiding R&D teams through the change process effectively.
  • Define, monitor, and adapt software architecture solutions across the entire EB product portfolio, promoting consistency and innovation.
  • Prioritize safety, security, and reliability considerations throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring robust and dependable products.

Collaboration and Outreach

  • Coach, mentor, and guide software engineers and team members, fostering their growth and professional development.
  • Stay wellinformed about emerging technologies and scientific advancements that impact the product organization, infusing innovation into our strategies.
  • Represent EB at technology forums and conferences, contributing to thought leadership and expanding the organization's visibility in the industry.

What you bring:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a software architecture role, with a track record of successfully leading architectural initiatives and managing a team.
  • Expertise in embedded systems with a sound knowledge in the safety and security domains.
  • Indepth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural paradigms.
  • Excellent knowledge of Software Defined Vehicle concepts and of the relevant automotive standards (e. g. Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262,).
  • Sound and operative knowledge of agile software development and DevOps methodologies
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies, with the ability to make informed decisions about technology stacks.
  • Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • You are an inspiring storyteller with strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and teambuilding abilities.
  • Previous experience in collaborating with crossfunctional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Firstrate verbal and written communication skills in English.
