Director Consulting - RCGTH - (D/F/M)

As a Director of RCGTH Consulting team you will collaborate with Cognizant's country leaders, industry leaders and client partners to grow Cognizant's Consulting business with existing and new clients in RCGTH industry.

You will lead multiple engagements where you will demonstrate your ability to lead and deliver large transformational programs for clients; drive innovation and thought leadership; coach and develop a team.

By defining each engagements scope, approach, team, and commercials, you take accountability for time, quality, profitability, and team performance.

You will be part of a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment where domain expertise is recognized, developed, and rewarded, well supported by a wider global retail, and consumer goods practice in the UK, US, CE and in APAC.


Your Key Result Areas:


  • Build and manage the Consulting practice for RCGTH Industry for DACH Region build own team of management consultants by recruiting and developing local consulting talent, function as coach and advisor
  • Connect with a variety of executive level stakeholders on their specific painpoints; build and strengthen meaningful internal and external relationships.
  • Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients
  • Be a thought leader and develop solutions to complex customer situations to ensure achievement of goals and objectives and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Expand and identify current and new business projects; manage and execute large strategic deals, proposals and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities
  • Identify, lead and oversee the development of customerfacing business solutions and offerings that have an impact on the market
  • Work with client business units, IT, and Digital Organization to define the roadmap and keep the idea/initiative funnel moving on regular basis
  • Define and drive gotomarket strategy and generate business by commercializing Digital advisory services

Your Qualification:


  • Several years of proven experience gained in Consulting within the RCGTH sector in DACH Region
  • Experience of managing large complex programs and delivering digital transformation services / projects
  • Having managed relationship at CxO level (or direct reports of business/digital/IT leadership)
  • Effectively and proactively managed clients' expectations, built deep client partnerships, and developed excellent communication and executive presence
  • Proven track record of developing new client relationships and winning new business opportunities
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Outstanding communication and crosscultural skills combined with visionary attitude, exceptional intellectual and analytical curiosity
  • Ability to work with multicultural and remotely located teams across the globe
  • Teamorientation and collaborative approach, combined with strong coaching and peopledevelopment expertise and determination to always raise the bar to reach "state of art" in client service delivery
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to drive agendas in fastpaced & innovative environments
