Are you passionate about SAAS sales and experienced in the German market?

As a rapidly growing provider of Cyber SAAS solutions, our client is dedicated to driving revenue expansion within the DACH region while fostering innovation.

Their primary objective in the region is to become the number 1 provider of Security Awareness Solutions & training and they need somebody who shares their ambition and drive to help relentlessly pursue this goal.


The role is focused on two primary aspects: responsibility for revenue growth through sales & marketing strategies, and the regional leadership of our business in DACH.

A longterm perspective in a dynamic market and a fast growing company


Location:
Leipzig, Germany (2/3 days per week in the office & balance of time remote)


Primary Responsibilities:


  • You will be the key point of contact for our German operation and will work closely with the leadership team to define the territory strategy and growth plan foreseeing all operations plans, sales implementation and generating progress reports.
  • 80% of your role will involve responsibility for strong business growth targets and delivery through outbound sales & marketing strategies.
  • 20% of your role and compensation is specifically reserved for the local leadership aspect of the role, in which you will be the principle point of contact for customers, colleagues and other external stakeholders in respect of corporate governance, company culture and stakeholder relationship management.
  • As they build the German commercial function you will be happy to own an individual revenue quota along with facilitating the delivery of your teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics and actively support the team in seizing key opportunities.
  • Customise the company's sales playbook to align with the nuances of the DACH market.
  • Collaborate with marketing and SDR functions to tailor outbound lead generation campaigns effectively.
  • Explore innovative growth strategies in conjunction with the marketing team.
  • Engage closely with product and customer teams to provide market insights that inform their product roadmap and enhance competitiveness.
  • Represent the company as a spokesperson during significant industry events in Germany.
  • Drive forecasting and delivery of revenue targets for the DACH region.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in a targetdriven Sales environment, with a strong preference for SAAS sales experience within the DACH region.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing managing successful sales and/or sales operations functions within the DACH region.
  • Fluency in both English and German languages.
  • Exceptional presentation, organisational, interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset coupled with resilience and motivation for success.
  • Strong aptitude for identifying and engaging key decisionmakers.
  • Targetoriented approach with a consultative leadership style.
  • Selfmotivated, organized, and capable of working autonomously.
  • Outstanding Strong time management and coordination abilities, solution oriented with the overall objectives of the company in mind.
  • Ability to thrive both as a team member and independently, with a quick adaptability to changing environments.
  • Proficiency in IT, including the Microsoft suite, common CRMs (Sales Force preferred), with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in HR & corporate operations desired.
