Airbus Helicopters is looking for a


Harness & Equipment Integrator Designer (d/f/m)
Your location


At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product.

Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Defining the assembly of the Equipment while respecting the rules and constraints of integration (mechanical resistance, shaffing, etc.)
  • Carrying out studies (DMU) and propose adapted and optimal installation solutions.
  • Realizing the drawings for supports and mechanical installations for harnesses and/or equipment
  • Defining the assembly of electrical harnesses respecting the rules and constraints of integration (mechanical resistance, shaffing...)
  • Carrying out studies (DMU) and propose adapted and optimal installation solutions.
  • Producing the routing plans used by the Final Assembly Line (Plans modeled in E3D/2D
  • VPM and V5)
  • Monitoring and reporting of activities
  • Monthly business trips 23 days (to Marignane, France) possible

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in the Electrical field, Engineering or equivalent with additional qualification or comparable
  • Practical Experience within Engineering
  • Experience in equipment integration preferably on government HC
  • Mastery of CATIA V5, VPM, BDCFAO
  • Autonomy, proactivity and interpersonal skills
  • Language skills: Fluent in English
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
