NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHER WITH LOTS OF HEART AND ENTHUSIASM WANTED

The team at the German-English bilingual kindergarten Kita Happy Kids (Berlin-Steglitz) is currently looking for an English Native Speaker for a mixed-age group of children ranging from 1 to 6 years of age


Start date:

March 1st.
Primary responsibilities include assisting the group's German-speaking lead teachers (Erzieher*innen) with loving, attentive and nurturing care while teaching them English through language immersion


Responsibilities include:

co-planning and implementing daily activities (such as circle time, pre-school, singing, art, story time, active play, field trips, etc); assisting in care-giving tasks (such as serving meals, toileting and diapering, tooth brushing, etc).

Full-time position (40 hours/week).


Native or Native level English (C2) is essential. Basic / Intermediate level German skills (B1/B2) are also necessary as per state requirement.

You must be legally eligible to work in Germany. Prior experience with children/teaching preferred.
