For our
Water Solutions business in Greifenerg, Germany, we are searching for the
Plant Leader (m/w/d).

DuPont Water Solutions (DWS) is a $1.5 Bn water technology leader, focused on solving global challenges in water purification, conservation, and reuse. DWS serves its thousands of customers in diverse industries through four major market segments using multiple technologies from its portfolio across major geographies of the world.

The
Greifenberg site is a key manufacturing location for the water treatment business with more than 125 employees.


The plant leader is accountable for the overall operation of the manufacturing facility including production, maintenance, safety, environmental, quality, cost, site logistics, and human resources.

Reporting to the Global Operations Leader for DuPont Water Solutions, the
Greifenberg Plant Leader will be responsible for key performance indicators in the following areas:

  • EH&S Performance
  • Production to Plan
  • TEEP / OEE Performance
  • Yield
  • Plant Fixed & Variable Cost Productivity

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Embraces Core Values demonstrating commitment to zero; role models aligned behaviors.
  • Partners with leaders to stay informed of the business strategy and needs; engages with employees to communicated business strategy and gain insight on strengths and challenges to delivery of strategy
  • Delivers on financial targets by pulling the right levers to manage expenses, margins, etc.
  • Communicates performance goals, metrics, and outcomes for the organization to safely and efficiently meet production goals and the customer's needs; leads change to meet business needs
  • Establishes financial accountability and rigor to deliver against plan and gain value from our assets and investments
  • Hire, retain, and develop talent to meet current and future capabilities; promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment; Coaches and provides performance feedback to team members to align on expectations and overall team effectiveness; Uses reward and recognition to drive the right behaviors and results
  • Promotes commitment to Operational Excellence by engaging team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, eliminate waste, remove barriers, and build a sense of ownership; uses lean and digital tools effectively
  • Collaborates across functions (R&D, Supply Chain, Sustainability, etc.) to align resources, eliminate inefficiencies and deliver value
  • Lead and drive a cross functional site leadership team
  • Partners with leaders to stay informed of the business strategy and needs; engages with employees to communicate business strategy and gain insight on strengths and challenges to delivery of strategy
  • Engages externally to develop strong community relations; interacts with and acts as the primary contact to all external regulatory agencies/organizations
  • Manages the relationships with community and governmental agencies, ensures proper representation of the DuPont interests.

Requirements:


  • Education: minimum BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other equivalent background
  • Industrial experience: 10+ years' experience in chemical or discrete manufacturing production environments
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to quickly understand technology and drive / support change.
  • Proven ability to lead cultur
