The Finance Director

• Spidercam

shall be responsible for the management of overall financial operations of the Spidercam Group and will work with the VP Camera Motion Systems Ross Video and CEO Spidercam and Director of Financial Operations Ross Video to provide accurate and timely information, including financial analysis, management reporting and consolidated financial statements for the Spidercam group.

They will be responsible for integrating Spidercam into the Ross Video suite of systems and ensuring that appropriate internal controls, policies and procedures are in place.

The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing the budget and forecasting process and providing financial analysis to support business proposals.

They will also oversee the accounting functions including payroll, credit & collections, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger and the preparation of the consolidated financial results.

The Finance Director will be responsible for transitioning to a new ERP system (Infor) as implemented by Ross Video in approximately one year's time.

What the job is all about:

• Responsible for the accounting operations of Spidercam producing accurate and timely month-end accounts and statutory reports, maintaining the general ledger, trial balance and preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Provide financial support to the operation including financial analysis for new contracts and sales proposals
• Coordinate and prepare the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for submission to the Ross Video FP&A team
• Responsible for overseeing vendor management, accounts payable and treasury
• Responsible for overseeing credit and collections
• Work in conjunction with the Ross Video tax and compliance team to assist in the preparation of local tax return filings, commodity and customs filings / documentation and transfer pricing
• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Prepare financial information and working papers for monthly, quarterly and year end statutory reports and government filings as required
• Liaison with accounting and tax auditors / regulatory officials
• Lead the local transition to new ERP system
• Perform other related duties as required.

Who you are:

• University degree in Business/Accounting, with advanced degree or professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CGA, CMA) or European equivalent
• 7+ years of financial experience with strong knowledge of financial analytics, financial accounting and management reporting.
• Thorough knowledge of all relevant statutory reporting requirements specifically in Austria and Germany
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Excel and general ledger software packages
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written in at a minimum English and German
• High initiative and welldeveloped analytical skills
• Highly collaborative approach to problem solving
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Location / Travel

• This role is located in Feistritz im Rosental, Austria with options for working remotely in the short term
• Will be required to travel to other Spidercam locations as required (Hamburg, Germany and Atlanta, US, Canada)
• Flexible to potentially relocate to Germany if required
