Business Development Executive - France


We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Business Development executive to look after new business acquisition for the Paris office.

The role would report to the Head of Business Development for Europe and be responsible for developing a stable French client's portfolio.

This is an exciting time to join SOL given it is seeing international growth.


Responsibilities

  • Get new briefs for exhibitions where French companies participate all around the globe
  • Develop and negotiate technical or financial solutions
  • Coordinate the different stages of a project with our Indian office
  • Develop business proposals
  • Negotiate and make business agreements and contracts
  • Analyse client needs
  • Develop a portfolio of clients and prospects. Determine their potential.
  • Client servicing
  • Process information (collect, categorise and update)
  • Elaborate dashboards
  • Elaborate presentations for clients or an audience
  • RFT participation

Required Skills:


  • Processoriented but with an agile approach as products and sales strategies evolve
  • Ability to understand needs and goals of prospects and build strong relationships with clients through a consultative approach
  • Highly motivated selfstarter, ambitious and results driven
  • Be able to see projects through to completion
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Minimum two years' experience in a direct sales role, ideally within the training industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate perfectly in French, both written and spoken, as well as a high level of English. Spanish would also be an advantage
