Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a talented SPLUNK expert to join our team on a freelance basis in Stuttgart.

A Splunk Enterprise system was built and configured. The system is ready to connect clients. The tenants provide the logs and create the required routing.

For this purpose, we need support in viewing the logs, data modeling (ad-ons), parsing/normalization, visualization, consulting and activation of use cases and corresponding frameworks.

The newly delivered logs are to be integrated into Splunk and configured in consultation with our security analysts. Recommendations for the optimization of security monitoring are to be coordinated and implemented with the customer. In addition, the log sources and the mapping to use cases should be documented before implementation. Accordingly, a playbook is to be designed and initially set up and expanded with each activated use case.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in implementing and managing SPLUNK platforms.
You have several years of indepth operational experience with Splunk and the Enterprise Security App
You have experience installing and configuring Splunk and Universal/Heavy Forwarder
You have indepth IT infrastructural knowledge
You have experience with normalizing log data to transfer the log to Splunk data models
You are safe on the Linux command line
