Our partner, a fast-growing German company in mobility industry, is looking for a
Head of IoT (M/F/d) to take an active role in shaping its engineering culture and future.

This is a full-time position in
Munich, Germany (partial work from home is possible).

Your responsibilities:

Software engineering required to run the company IoT fleet
Systems & Embedded Engineering, Backend & Frontend Engineering, and DevOps & QA Engineering
Leading a diverse team of up to 7 Engineering Managers who have about 30 Engineers in their teams
Working together with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hire Tech Talents to grow your Team
Maintaining the current software generation and R&Dprojects to secure the company scale and ensure secure operations in compliance with upcoming legal regulations
Leading the R&D activity for the IoT hardware
Representing the company in technical meetings with vendors
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering

Required qualifications:

At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies or a related field
At least 8 years of product engineering or R&D experience
At least 5 years of technical leadership experience (tech lead or principal engineer role) or 2+ years of people management experience
Ability to code in Python or C/C++ and comfortable in working with Linux CLI and using GNU tools to check the quality of a code while hiring engineers
Experienced with AWS services, like Lambda, EC2, S3 and IAM
You are a natural problem solver that cannot rest until the issue is not 100% solved
Strong written and spoken English skills (at least level C1)
