Your career at Deutsche Börse Group:
Information Security is of very high priority for supporting DBG's business. The department Group Security uses the ISO 27000 framework and fulfils the relevant requirements for financial service providers. In this way it is possible to protect the information assets in terms of confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, and availability.


Your area of work:


The Information Security Regulation & Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that our organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders around information security.

This individual will act as a key coordinator and advisor on security policy & standards, regulatory matters, audit coordination, and compliance tasks, as well as serve as a delegate in public events if needed for our Chief Security Officer (CSO).

Furthermore will the role be involved with matters and projects around internal control systems (ICS) improvements, public cloud security & DORA implementation and improvements.


Your responsibilities:


  • Prepare and deliver updates on significant regulatory developments to Group Security management and department.
  • Provide input and feedback on security topics with our second Line of Defense (LoD) and Regulatory Strategy department.
  • Consult, advice and coordinate between various stakeholders on security standards & information security regulatory matters.
  • Represent the organization both internally and externally in matters related to information security.
  • Coordinate and support the department on ongoing audits and findings remediation.
  • Support Security Management on tasks and issues related to regulation and compliance, including Internal Control System (ICS) processes, risks and controls.
  • Engage with regulators or public bodies on a range of information security or cyber security topics, from receiving notifications to participating in workshops.
  • Involvement and consulting in projects around cloud security, DORA and ICS.

Your profile:


  • Bachelor/Master degree in Information Security or Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in information security policies and standards, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, or a similar role ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks in the financial industry (e.g., MaRisk BAIT, EU DORA, NIS 2, CSSF circulars) and industry standards (e.g. ISO 2700x, NIST, COBIT) is desired.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational plans and actions.
  • Understanding of internal control systems (ICS) and compliance reporting.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Security with a focus on above.
  • Experience in structuring options and presenting these to senior management.
  • Proactive thinking and selfpaced work on solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking, ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English. German would be an added advantage.
  • Good to have: CISSP, CISM and any technical trainings.
Additionally, you need to be a team player with good communication skills.
