Beschreibung
Gestalten Sie mit uns die Zukunft Im Institut für Mathematik der Fakultät für Elektrotechnik, Informatik und Mathematik ist zum 01. Oktober 2025 eine W2-Universitätsprofessur (w/m/d) für Analysis und Geometrie zu besetzen. Die zu berufende Persönlichkeit soll ein aktuelles Forschungsgebiet in der Analysis mit Bezügen zu geometrischen Fragestellungen vertreten und mit ihrem Forschungsschwerpunkt das Institut für Mathematik der Universität Paderborn sowie den SFB/TRR 358 »Ganzzahlige Strukturen in Geometrie und Darstellungstheorie« sinnvoll verstärken und ergänzen. Geeignete Forschungsschwerpunkte beinhalten beispielsweise (aber nicht ausschließlich) Differentialgeometrie, Geometrische Analysis, Harmonische Analysis oder Dynamische Systeme. Die Bereitschaft der*des zukünftigen Stelleninhaber*in, im SFB/TRR 358 »Ganzzahlige Strukturen in Geometrie und Darstellungstheorie« aktiv mitzuwirken, wird vorausgesetzt. Weitere Anknüpfungspunkte im Institut für Mathematik oder an anderen Instituten der Universität Paderborn, wie zum Beispiel dem Institut für Informatik, dem Department Physik oder dem Institut für Photonische Quantensysteme, sind wünschenswert. Die*der Stelleninhaber*in soll sich maßgeblich an den Lehraufgaben des Faches Mathematik beteiligen und soll insbesondere auch in der Lehramtsausbildung und in der fächerübergreifenden Ausbildung mitwirken. Einstellungsvoraussetzungen: § 36 Abs. 1 Ziff. 1-4 HG NRW (abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium, pädagogische Eignung, einschlägige Promotion und zusätzliche wissenschaftliche Leistungen).
